Bruges is really nice! A really nice break from Paris. Reached yesterday morning to a peaceful countryside-like place with sunshine (!!!) and fresh air empty of smoke.
Anyways, spent around SGD70 today on chocolates (omg)!!! And it really isn't a lot judging from the quantity. Oh wells. H&M sale here is better than anywhere so far, bought 3 items as well, which will probably be the last buys of the trip/exchange.
Bruges is a bit like Venice/Amsterdam with the canals. You will know what I mean when I upload photos next time. Yesterday and today was a far cry from each other 'cos yesterday was new year so the streets were rather empty, like a ghost town, but today it was just thronging with people, super crowded, and the smoke just came back again :( But there were hail storms today! Ok not storms exactly, but it was like raining just that it wasn't water but round bits of snow/hail :) nice!
Europe is starting to turn cold after the warm bout. Brrr.
